Season 7 ep 1 & 2

What's popping everyone? I'm kind of shifting to a bi-weekly update. It's hard to find time every week to write, so I'll probably start doing that. Anyways life is pretty good here in the West Valley of Arizona! After being here in Goodyear and the YSA for a little bit, I've learned that not just the people but the members too are kind of... interesting 😂  Don't get me wrong, they're great and super involved in the work they're just a bit wack. But that's why I love them! I have already made some pretty cool connections so that's sweet. 

I guess a highlight for these last two weeks is we had mission tour! If you remember Elder Pingree from Conference, he is the one who came to visit our mission! It was pretty incredible. We talked about so much it's hard to pick something to share haha. There was a special devotional that night at the church by the temple and we were able go with our friend Deion, and it was awesome! It was very spiritual and I definitely learned a lot. We got to walk the temple grounds after at like 8:30 pm, it was very, very special. I also got to see A TON of missionaries I haven't seen in a long time and it was soooo good to see them. They're incredible. 

I've been able to go back out to Buckeye a few times and it's been pretty sweet to see more of the areas I wasn't over. I swear there are more nasty little dogs out there than when I was there😂 I almost had to kick one, he got a little close. There are also some nasty dogs here in Goodyear. We have some more ghetto parts of our area, but so far they have proven to be pretty good places for finding. Man I definitely don't have enough time to write about everything😂

So my companion, Elder de Jonge (day yonga) is literally the best. I'm trainer breaking him, and he's from the Netherlands! He is so awesome. He cooks, he cleans, and he teaches. He's very kind and a ton of fun. He is also like 6'3 so we dominate in basketball. He's sweet! He speaks like 3-4 languages, it's super dope. We had a zone activity and I got to see some friendly faces, Elders Peck, Bressan, and a few others. 

I'm definitely still adjusting to being in the APM. There's still divisions between the two missions from when they merged, and I definitely feel it, maybe I'm just crazy though. Kind of hard to fit in, but it is what is is.

Life is pretty good here! It's awesome, and I've got a pretty good district, they're awesome. Sorry I don't have time for a spiritual thought this week, just know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you all so so much and they always will.

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
