Just a Quick Update

S5 ep 5 & 6

Hey everyone! 

Sorry this is so late, I'm actually sick so I haven't been doing a whole lot, so don't expect this to be too long. But man have I been so busy this month, it's been awesome. I officially hit 7 months today so that's pretty lit. Crazy to think about haha. A ton of the older missionaries that I know all went home this transfer so that's a little sad but it is what is right? So much has happened in these 2 weeks and there's definitely not enough time or space to write it all haha, but I will try to recap.

I caught a Sun Spider the other day and chucked him in the freezer, so that was a mission bucket list item complete! Time for some Scorpions and wolf spiders baby.

We finally moved into our new apartment and holy crap is it nice. It's brand new and everything is so clean and white🙌 definitely gonna keep it that way. There is a lot of gangs and drug selling here but it's ok, it keeps things spicy 🔥 

During some service my comp got spit on by an Alpaca🤭😂

I had 3 exchanges, and they were all really good. We found a truck in the middle of the desert that looked like it had a fire bomb or some form of explosive go off in it, it was completely melted and malformed. Pretty sweet!

Got transfer news last night, and I'm staying out here in Buckeye with Elder Peck as the DL. I'm gonna have two greenies in my district too so that's gonna be sick! I was hoping (and the AP's said it was possible) that we would get 2 more missionaries out here in Buckeye. We were hoping for some Sisters but no such luck, just the 6 of us Elders again!

The work is going really well out here. We have some very promising people, but we will have to see what happens!

We had 2 baptisms in the district, and I got to interview them. It was 9 and 14 year old girls. It was really cool to feel their wonderful spirits and testimonies, and they were more than ready for baptism.

This truly is the Lord's work and there is nowhere else I'd rather be than here serving the Lord in Buckeye! I testify that this is the Lord's church and that through His gospel you can find answers to all of your questions, trials, and obstacles. Ask, and ye shall receive. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.

I invite you all to do just that. Knock.

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
