S5 ep 4

How's it going everyone! I hope you all are doing absolutely fantastic because I definitely am. It is so good to be out here in Buckeye serving the Lord, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, not right now. There is just so much good to be found on missions. So much. It's just that simple. I'd say I definitely learned a lot this week. Especially about mentalities. Your focus and mentality will effect your entire life and it will determine a lot of things. The best thing to focus on is Christ and the positive side of every single thing!

Once again there is some great momentum going on here in Buckeye, and it's so good to see. I'm so grateful for all of the wonderful Elders I get to serve with out here, they're great examples. Our roommates had a baptism this weekend that we helped out a lot with, his name was Romaldo. I actually got to interview him, and he is just so prepared. His family and wife are going to be right after him sometime this month! We also have another 2 baptisms scheduled later this month that are definitely going to happen. We're so blessed to see the Lord's hand in His work and it wouldn't be possible without it. After the baptism,(which our mission President and his wife came to) they actually took us 4 out to dinner. It was really cool to talk and get to know them better in a little bit more "normal" circumstances. It just made me love them more.

It's crazy to think there's only 2 more weeks of this transfer, if feels like it started yesterday. Then again my entire mission feels that way. Today we had our zone activity, and it was decent. In my opinion it would've been nice to have done less volleyball, but it's ok because everyone else enjoyed it. We did a series of small competitions in a tournament style among the districts which was pretty fun. I think we took 2nd by like 2 points, so it was very close.

We have some really good friends who are progressing really well, we just can't seem to get them to church no matter what. But it ultimately comes down to them and their agency so not much we can do other than pray, fast, and do our best.

I've been doing a lot of interesting studies lately, but something I think is cool, is that when I was reading in Matthew it all just makes sense and aligns with the Book of Mormon. It all just clicks and it's so cool to see. Look for the positive in all that you do. I invite you all to find, choose, and make joy. How do you do that? Go ponder and study it and find out for yourself!

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
