Busy, Busy, Busy

S6 ep 1, 2, and 3

What's up everyone! 

Sorry it's been such a long time since I emailed last, but I've been pretty busy haha. It feels like I barely have time to do anything these days, but that's a good thing! It's much better to be busy than bored. I don't even really know where to start to be honest though. I've had exchanges, zone conference, Scorpion and spider hunting (a rattlesnake is next) and just so much more. I guess I'll start with a few highlights.

-Our 9 year old friend Magnolia is progressing really well and is going to be baptized on the 23 so that is really exciting! Her older brother is also a ward missionary and he's a lot of fun. He is currently preparing for a mission too.

-A part member family we have been working with for the past 2.5-3 months have told us they want to go to the temple as a family, and they're 2 youngest daughters, 9 and 10, both want to be taught and baptized as well!

-I had an exchange with one of the new Elders and it was a lot of fun. We got him a lot of teaching experience and found a FAT Scorpion out in Tartesso. I squished it, he was pretty juicy.

-They updated the Sacred Music app so it's a lot easier and way better to play the youth album music so that's a blessing.

-Zone conference was on letting God prevail, and I've definitely had a lot of growth opportunities. It's always awesome having opportunities to improve and be better. 

-We found a sports bar all the way out here in Buckeye and it's actually really good. It's kind of hidden, and it's a little expensive, so we don't go very often, But it's pretty sweet! 

- Got to go pick up trash in the Gila River bottom so that was super cool. I found some cool critters and stuff.

- We spoke on Sunday and the ward seemed to enjoy it.

I finished my first journal in the mission! Doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment, but hey, I think it's cool!

-We have gotten 4-5 inactives back to church consistently so that's sweet!

-We're always meeting crazies out in the desert. Some black dude answered and was butt naked. He had 0 fear😂and he said there wasn't a time we could come back😂

There's so much more, but that's all I have time to write. Sorry if there are errors, this was petty hasty. 

Here's a quick little thought. The talk I spoke on in church was "Keep On Going in Faith" by Elder Carl B. Cook. I would invite you all to keep on going. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, climb a little higher on the mountain, and wake up each day and strive to be a little better. Ask for help from God and Christ and have faith and expect to receive that divine help. Don't give up, you'll regret it later.

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
