SOVERIGN FLOWER!!! S1 ep 4

Gooood morrrrrnninggg people! Or good night? Depends on when you read this. But hi! Hope you are all doing fantastic and some of you better be enjoying the snow back home. It's been 60-70 most of the week here 😎😂Anyways, this week went by really fast, there were some long days but it feels like yesterday that I was typing an email again hahahaha. 

A lot happened, but one key moment(s) is that we found like 15 people again this week but we prayed every day to find genuine people who are legitimately interested. We definitely found some. 3 or 4 seem to be genuine. One dude crossed 5 lanes of traffic in downtown Scottsdale to come tell us he appreciated what we do, and that he wants to learn more and be a better individual. His name is Nolan, and he is super cool! He's pretty young so we will have to refer him to the YSA ward but I look forward to getting to know him better. We also have 2 older Sisters where 1 is praying over a baptismal date and the other is close as well. The work is definitely progressing!

We had a really windy and cold day with like 25 mph winds or something, which isn't super fast but it is when you're on a bike😂The whole day it felt like the wind was literally shifting so we would always be biking into it. There is definitely opposition in all things but we still worked hard and got a lot done.

We met a crazy dude at like 9 on our way back to the apartment. He was super drunk and had an entire wine bottle he was drinking out of hahaha. We asked him his name and he said "SOVEREIGN FLOWER AND IM A MESSENGER FROM THE UNIVERSAL CREATOR" were like yo we are too! Then he said you have to be 39 and all we're supposed to do as kids is to shut the *&^% up and pull some weeds😂He then crossed the road when the light turned red and walked over everyone's lawn. It was hilarious, Elder Grant and I were talking about it like hours😂

The topic for our upcoming zone conference is Faith/hope in Jesus Christ. So I have been doing a lot of pre study as prep for that. There are some amazing chapters on this topic. I'd invite you guys to read some of them, they're awesome. Ether 12, Moroni 7 and especially Hebrews 11. Faith is the short term belief to take action. Hope is the long term knowledge that something will occur because of your actions in faith. For example we do everything in the Gospel in this life through our faith and in turn we "hope" for the reward of eternal exaltation. Hope is a word of surety, not possibility, in the Gospel. It all revolves around your faith. So read your scriptures, say your prayers, and ponder. Do lottssss of pondering and your faith will grow and it will be amazing. Mine has already grown a ton and it is changing the way I view things, for the better.

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
