 May 22, 2023 S3 ep 2 Hey everyone, nothing too crazy has happened this week. Just same old same old. Training is going well. Elder Deniger is doing really good. We met our new mission President, Brik Eyre (his wife Susan), on Wednesday and had a long meeting to talk about all the different changes in the mission. We have some people who may progress but we will see. So far everyone out here is a little insane, but the work is moving forward. (Note from mom: The Elders had 4 'friends', people they're teaching, at church on Sunday). I've definitely been playing a lot of basketball so that's a lot of fun, A member gave me a lot of money for doing some service (which he wouldn't take back), so I'm gonna buy some shoes with it and probably a basketball. I would invite you all to track your own conversion and progression. A big part of missionary work is tracking your friends progression, so why not track your own to see how you grow?  May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

This week really went by really fast like almost every week in the mission. That's it for this transfer and my "official" training is over, and all I can say is that it was great. Wouldn't change it for anything.  This week was pretty normal though, our progressing people have been a bit stagnant as they've been sick so the big highlights have been just finding some really promising people. We will see if anything happens there! We broke our goal of new people in a transfer again so that was cool. Everything is getting banned in the mission because of some stupid Elders hahahaha. There is a house in Snowflake that they call the Frat house that holds like 8 Elders and over time they've caused 10,000 dollars of damage to it, so now we can't have any strength equipment at all. May 1, 2023 S2 ep 5  Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well and finding joy in all that you do and just having a ton of fun! I know that I sure am. It is just so so good to be here. These last 3 months have already changed my life, and I wouldn't trade them for anything else. I've learned so much, and my conversion to the Lord has deepened. Missions are the absolute best and it's never too late to serve, well, unless you're over 26 but then you can do senior missions later on! Like I said, I'm doing really good. Life is great, and the mission is so good. Transfers are coming up soon and we think my trainer is going to get transferred to the mountains, just in time to escape the heat. Some people think I might be training right out of training, but I'm not sure about that 😂  I think I'm staying here in the Mountain Shadows District for a bit longer too.  But hence the title, it's getting hot!
