The 2nd Farewell! S1 E2

What's going on everyone! Elder Cozzens is back with an absolute banger of an episode tonight. It's hard to believe, but I'm in Arizona already! It feels like I just got to the MTC, and like I opened my call yesterday, but we are already 3 weeks in. On Tuesday we had a member of the 70 come and give us a devotional which was super cool and spiritual. A cool and funny story, some of the Elders in my branch figured out how to bypass the firewalls in the MTC network and access Google so we were able to keep track with the Super Bowl score, hehehe.

Anyways, I already knew my comp Elder Jensen was good at music, but wow is he cracked! He got his guitar this week, and he can't even read music, but he can literally just make something up on the spot and make it sound good😂. Also let me roll my MTC experience into a nutshell. It is a very special place and has a very special spirit. I was able to have lots of crazy experiences with personal revelation and just able to learn so much because of the atmosphere. However, the food has a lot of improving to do. I'm surprised I didn't get sick. Actually I did, but I don't think it was from the cafeteria😂. But it's an amazing place, and I'm glad I was able to spend it with my amazing district ❤️. 

Spiritual thought. A big part of my study this week was on the heart, and how Heavenly Father knows the true desires of your heart and that (D&C 137:9) we will be judged by the true desires of our hearts. In order to change this desire it relies very heavily on faith that Heavenly Father can change our heart. Something I said this week that made me feel cool, "Faith is the conduit for Celestial power."

I'm super excited to finally be here in Arizona to finally spread His word to these amazing people and to also deepen my own conversion unto Christ. I would invite you all to exercise the faith you have in Jesus Christ to also look for ways to deepen your own conversion this week. See you next week!

Not sure where to start

 May 15, 2023 S3 ep 1 Hey everyone, this last week was definitely an interesting one. My trainee Elder Deniger is doing really good, he's a great guy and he is excited to be here. He's a great missionary. Aside from our mission culture meeting on Friday everything was pretty normal.  But a lot happened and is changing as of today.  I am no longer in the Arizona Scottsdale Mission. The ASM has been cut in half and is now split into the new Flagstaff Arizona Mission and the rest into the Phoenix Arizona Mission. As of such I am not going to be seeing most of the friends I've made for who knows how long. At least the rest of the mission but probably more. I'm now on my second set of Mission Presidents and in a month I will get a new set. We have transfers again in 3 weeks so I have also lost 3 weeks of my mission. I've lived with the AP's for these last months and they are both leaving and getting split up, 1 to each mission. I'll definitely miss them, so the...

S1 Ep8 We Scrounged a Weight Machine

 April 10, 2023 How's it going everyone? I hope you all have had a great week and a phenomenal Easter, I sure know I did. We had Easter dinner with the Campbell's, a family that we are teaching right now. We think they are going to get baptized, so that is super exciting! I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna keep this short, but it was a good week. We worked hard, and are starting to see it pay off. One cool thing this week is that we were biking around and found an entire Smith machine in a dudes driveway with a "free" sign on it. So, being elders we naturally called up a member with a truck and chucked it in our front room. It was pretty epic. Crazy to think I hit 2 months in the field this week and 3 months as a missionary in less than 2 weeks! Absolutely loving it out here, go read 3 Nephi 22:11-13. Some great scriptures.
